Last weekened we went to Lago Atitlan, where we took a boat out from Panajachel to a small lakeside village called Santa Cruz. Lago Atitlan is massive and surrounded by many volcanos. When we got to Santa Cruz we split up into different groups. One group went swimming, another went on a hike to visit an old church, another one had a good meal at a local resturant called La Iguana Perdida, and another group was supposed to go kayaking but ended up swimming as well. when we finished our activities, we switched. On our way Back Mr. Martinez paid the boat driver 20 extra quetzales to stop in the middle of the lake and he and Mr. Carolan randomly jumped off of the upper deck of our boat. All of a sudden we all started ripping off our clothes and getting back into our bathing suites in order for us to jump off as well. I jumed off twice. We all had an amazing time, although we all gt home soaking wet.
